Aurora was a Magician who wrote a book used for study by Travelers.
Biography[]
Aurora wrote a book that would be used by Travelers for study to hone their abilities, which was among the materials used by Penny Adiyodi to hone his abilities while attending Brakebills University for Magical Pedagogy. Adiyodi later discovered a copy of Aurora's work, along with books by Kaminsky and Umar, in the writing room of the Plover Estate and realized that Christopher Plover was studying magic to travel to Fillory with the Chatwins.[1]
Dean Henry Fogg later hired Penny Adiyodi from the 23rd timeline as a Professor at Brakebills to train the newly discovered young Travelers following the release of the Secret Sea's energy during Everett Rowe's death. Professor Adiyodi, however, advised the students not to read the books on Traveling and instead get the Anti-Traveling Spell.[2]

- Traveler Physiology: Aurora was a Traveler, a magical hybrid capable of hearing the thoughts of others and teleporting throughout the Multiverse. They later wrote a book that served as educational material for Travelers.
- Teleportation: Aurora was able to teleport to other worlds throughout the Multiverse.
- Magic Manipulation: Aurora was able to shape and manipulate the energy of the Wellspring to cast spells by writing specific formations with their hands, forming phosphorescent constructs of energy.
- Telepathy: As a Traveler, Aurora was a natural-born Psychic, capable of hearing the unwarded thoughts of others. This ability was tied to their connection to the Wellspring, causing them to lose it in the event it was cut off.
