The Automatic Writing Spell is a spell used by Christopher Plover to write The Wandering Dune.
History[]
Christopher Plover discovered the spell while he was working on the manuscript for The Wandering Dune, using it to complete his book before he broke another deadline. Plover later suggested that he and Alice Quinn perform the spell on Quinn and her friends' Books so the Order of the Library of the Neitherlands wouldn't be able to track their movements after Alice escaped from their custody.[1]
