The Baba Yaga is the spirit of an ancient Slavic witch that eats children. She now possesses a Hedge Witch named Bailey, who works as the landlord at Kady Orloff-Diaz's Penthouse and collects magical artifacts to appease Baba Yaga.
Biography[]
The Baba Yaga is a prominent figure in Eastern European folklore, described as a hag who dwells deep in the forest in a hut that roams on chicken legs. Her spirit is channeled by Bailey, the landlord for a magical penthouse in New York City who collects rent in the form of magical artifacts.
After Kady Orloff-Diaz took over Marina Andrieski's penthouse, Baba Yaga arrived to collect the rent that Andrieski was meant to collect. Diaz payed her with one artifact that Marina managed to obtain, the Totem of the Plump Pelican, and promised to pay the full rent, including Webster's Weeping Healer and a Bag of Holding, before Baba Yaga threatened to boil her bones.[1]
