Cairo is the capital of Egypt and the largest city in the Middle-East and Africa.

History[]

Recruiting for Brakebills[]

Following the 1940s, Brakebills University was swept by a vogue for multicultural spellcasting and began importing Master Magicians from around the world to work as professors, including hookah-puffing wizards from inner-city Cairo coffeehouses.[1]

Nafarro's Thefts[]

Brakebills graduate Alex Nafarro broke into magic schools and hedge magic houses in Cairo during their search for books containing powerful, banned spells.[2]

Unknown Pharaoh[]

In 2018, a team of archaeologists uncovered the tomb of a 4,200-year-old Unknown Pharaoh just outside of Cairo and brought his sarcophagus to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, where the pharaoh was resurrected by Nameless to help track down one of his Stone Organs.[3]
