McCabe was an author of magical text used by Magicians.
Biography[]
McCabe discovered magic and was able to study the gestures and spells necessary to wield it, later writing down their knowledge in a book meant for Magicians to use to study magic. While investigating Christopher Plover's home in England, Penny Adiyodi discovered one of McCabe's books in Plover's office, leading Quentin Coldwater and his friends to believe Plover became The Beast.[1]
Magic and Abilities[]
- Master Magician: McCabe was a talented Master Magician, able to write down their knowledge of magic for future generations to study from.
- Magic Manipulation: McCabe was able to shape and manipulate the energy of the Wellspring to cast spells by writing specific formations with his hands, conjuring phosphorescent constructs of energy.
