Overview[]
A spell that compels those around the caster to sing, usually with accompaniment of some kind. The spell's tutting changes depending on the caster, but has a similar effect overall.
In Lesser Evils, Margo Hanson casts the spell to make Eliot Waugh sing "One Day More" from Les Misérables in an attempt to inspire courage in him before his duel with the King of Loria, Idri. The spell in this instance makes everyone in the castle sing along to the song, complete with full choreography and theatrics. [1]
In All That Josh, Quentin Coldwater casts the spell to compel the rest of the main cast to sing "Under Pressure" by Queen and David Bowie, in order to break the spell keeping them in an alternate dimension Physical Kids' Cottage during the Quest for the Seven Keys. This time around, Quentin must convince the other cast members to sing along, as the 5th keys' theme is Unity.[2]
In No Better to Be Safe Than Sorry, Kady casts the spell to compel the main cast to sing an acoustic version of "Take on Me" by a-ha as a tribute to Quentin who sacrificed himself to stop Everett Rowe from using the power of Nameless to become a god.[3]
