The Nave Hotel is a Magicians-exclusive hotel, known to be one of the safest places in the world. It has a strict code of conduct that is enforced by Bellhops, golems enchanted with an empathy spell.

The Naive, a hotel in New York City known to be one of the safest magical places on Earth. In it, there is a vault, highly protected by magical wards and anti travelling spells, it is kept in freezing temperature. Robbing it has been seen as a “suicide mission” and from those who have try, rare are those who are still alive to talk about it.[1]
There is two known times that the Nave was under attack by a heist, one didn’t work and ended up in death while the other was successful due to the discovery of the bellhops' weakness and songs from the ’80s.
Marina Andrieski, Gavin Winterbottom and another hedge witch went into the hotel despite their plan to do it during the harmonic convergence being stopped.
While Marina was monitoring everything at a distance with a heist book they created, mapping the whole hotel, Gavin Winterbottom and the hedge witch came to the hotel with the ill intent, they stayed away from the bellhops who would have sensed their duplicity immediately.
They went into the basement where there is the vault. The hedge witch managed to remove the traveling wards around the safe which made Gavin Winterbottom able to go inside and discover that the World Seed was not there. As it took the hedge witch too long to crack the wards, bellhops got to him and killed him before nearly beating Gavin Winterbottom to death. He only survived because the traveling wards were still down and he could escape.
Second Attempt
The second try was made by Marina and Zelda Schiff who were managing at a distance while Margo Hanson, Alice Quinn, Eliot Waugh, Kady Orloff-Diaz, Josh Hoberman, Pete andFen would be in the hotel doing various tasks. Everything is orchestrated by a conductor spell that was cast during a surge which created them to sing every time they had an emotion. They decided to go while wearing emotion bottles to avoid being detected while signing in the hotel corridor.
During the preparation phase, Kady went to look into the outside ward and discovered that one of the rooms of the hotel was too hot to be comfortable. They deduced that the World Seed would be there. Margo also discovers that Paloma Ball had put the seed there by making it travel in a fake designer bag that was enchanted to be at 99 degrees and 99% humidity.
They enter through Pete who checked-in at the hotel. Inside his room, he opens his luggage that was a portal for the others to come inside the hotel. Pete went to talk to The Couple to distract them while Margo, Josh and Fen went to their room to find Paloma's fake bag, while Kady, Eliot, and Alice were heading downstairs to lower the heat. Margo got the bag and Fen got the World Seed page they were wrongly translating but as they were leaving, Psycho Fogg was waiting ready for them and captured them. George and Paloma Ball are then told that someone had been trying to steal and left Pete who had been trying to distract them. But in his attempt to gain time, he lied which broke a code of conduct for the hotel.
The Couple nearly ran into Kady, Eliot, and Alice who manage to avoid them only to be found by a bellhop who said their presence was not authorized and started to grapple them to kick them out. This caused Alice's emotion bottle to break and while she was signing her emotions, the bellhop became overwhelmed and passed out. Rather lucky to have found this weakness, Marina warned them of the arrest of the other group.
In the room, Fen manages to gain time explaining she is Fillorian and that the Balls' translation of old Fillorian was wrong, she agreed to translate the page for them in exchange for her friends' life. They agreed and brought her to the room where the seed was, having Psycho Fogg keeping Margo and Josh for collateral. Kady comes to the bedroom to save the others by pretending to be taken by Fogg, dropping on purpose alcohol mixed with Archie which sent him to the Etheric Realm.
Alice and Eliot manage to lower the temperature of the hottest room, neutralizing any bellhops by signing as Eliot drank some of his emotions back. This caused The Couple to decide to torture Fen for her to go faster, but before they could do it, Margo, Josh and, Kady tricked Paloma into opening the door of the bedroom and getting her at gunpoint. George Ball took Fen at gunpoint as an exchange. Josh manages to calm both parties down by reminding them that the temperature was lowering and the World Seed would die. Both Margo and George lowered their guns, only to discover that Margo's stolen bag was broken.
As both parties tried to grab the seed, Margo distracted the Balls by shooting into George's hand and Fen swiftly put the World Seed into her vagina. They ended up fleeing the hotel with the help of Santa Claus who was called earlier by Alice Quinn.[2]
