  • 1 - Penny 23 tries to travel the moon and, without his psychic abilities to guide himself, he ends up exploding and dying in a quite gruesome way. The Earth explodes.
  • '2- Magicians try to move the Earth with no success at all.  The Earth explodes.
  • 3- Margo finds a way to talk to the moon that requires Sphincter Magic; none of them can do it. The Earth explodes.
  • 4- Eliot tries to make a giant baseball mitt to catch the debris before they fall on Earth.  The Earth explodes anyway.
  • 10- Margo and Eliot see Stoppard who tries to send them back in time, but since his machines work with the moon being whole as a circumstance, it doesn't work. The Earth explodes.
  • '11- Margo and Eliot try to go to Fillory to talk to Jane Chatwin, but the clock that they use as a portal does not work. They then decide to do the same thing they did to solve one of Professor Sato's impossible tests and throw a party, so their mind is not focused only on the problem, but still work in the background of their mind. The Earth explodes before they find a solution.
  • 12- They try to do another party, this time on the theme of Greece and Greek Gods. The Earth explodes before they find a solution.
  • 13- Another eager, Margo starts to think it will not work and tries to sober up to find a solution.  The Earth explodes before they found a solution.
  • 14- Margo is trying to find clues or ideas to fix the problem. Eliot throws a party.  The Earth explodes before they found a solution.
  • 15- In the middle of another party by Eliot, Margo says she saw part of the solution and leaves.
  • 16- Margo says she is going to Fisher Beach, station number 17 where she found her solution. Eliot tries to explain that he feels like he still sees and hears The Monster which makes her think he is still withholding from her. Feeling that Eliot is in no state to talk or understand, she decides to go alone. Her plan does not work. The Earth explodes.
  • 17- Eliot wakes up on this timeline, and Margo does not remember any time loops, meaning Eliot is the only one to actively do something. Fearing being alone and living in the fear that The Monster is still inside him, he ends up in the middle of Central Park in a prayer circle with people who awaits their death. As he does nothing, the Earth explodes.
  • 18- Eliot tries to psych himself to talk to The Monster inside of him when Josh arrives and gives him a cookie. They both go in a taqueria to try pierogi tacos (which are apparently not good), and he explains to Josh the time loops, how Margo isn't with him anymore and his fears. Josh comforts him and suggests to open his mind to what makes him afraid and to talk to him; he also affirms his truth into Eliot fixing the problem with the moon. Both men cheer to that. The Earth explodes.
  • 19- Eliot discovers that The Monster isn't in him, but Charlton is, and with his help, the retrace what Margo was trying to do in timeline 15 and 16. They go to Fisher Bay, Station 17, where they talk to all of the Whales through an old television. They explain that they have magical power, and their ancestor had made a pact with the Old Gods to save the world from the Kraken, who was about to destroy the Earth. In exchange for their magic, they will have to trace sigil in the bottom of the ocean for eternity. They even made a failsafe in which if the Kraken came out of its prison, time would be set back twelve hours so the problem could be fixed. This is why the time loops happen; when moon rock hits the Earth, the sigils break, and the Kraken get out, the failsafe activates, creating a new loop. They also admit removing the Permanence on Margo as she had been really rude to them. Eliot and Charlton theorize that if they manage to get the 12 hours earlier, they would be able to stop themselves from breaking the moon in the first place. Eliot asks The Whales if they could release the Kraken earlier to help, offended, they refuse to talk more and leave. Eliot goes back to the penthouse and explains what he and Charlton have discovered and Margo suggests killing all the whales, which is probably what she had tried in Timeline 16 and had her Permanence removed. They all suggest Eliot try to convince them again and all hold hands as the world explodes again.
  • 20- Eliot and Charlton go back to Fisher Beach, Station 17, where the Whales still refuse to talk to him, who end up screaming at the ocean, explaining that they will be in the same loop over and over if they do not help. After pleading with them, they release the Kraken and turn back time 12 hours, just at the moment where they were about to start their heist in Oren Westbrook's house. Eliot, remembering everything, manages to change their plan, Margo knocks down Marina, the moon begins to listen and decide to move, saving them from the Harmonic Convergence and not exploding.
