The Outer Islands are a collection of islands located in the Eastern Ocean on Fillory.

History

When Quentin Coldwater asked Eliot Waugh and Margo Hanson to help rob a bank for Julia Wicker, the two quickly agreed before Waugh explained that Fillory had no money to fund their ongoing war with Loria. Coldwater was surprised asked how that was possible due to the Nugget Beetles on the Outer Islands ability to produce precious stones, and Hanson told him the beetles were going extinct due to Ember tainting the Wellspring.
