Penny Adiyodi accidentally teleported to Shanghai from Brakebills University during a meditation session while trying to control his abilities. The next day, Henry Fogg and Professor Pearl Sunderland arrived in the city to bring him back to the school, revealing to him his nature as a Traveler.[1]
