Lady Agate Grey, also known as the Stone Queen, is the Queen of the Tribe of the Floating Mountain.

Lady Agate Grey, the Stone Queen first came to Fillory during the reign of High King Eliot Waugh, under the direction of The Fairy Queen. The Fairy Queen demanded that Margo Hanson, a queen of Fillory, mary the oldest of Lady Agate Grey's children. This was done, in part, to give Fillory more power, and in extension the Fairy Queen. The marriage between Margo Hanson and Lady Agate's son would seal the two nations together and in doing so would give Fillory and it's monarchs access to the resources and armies of the Tribe of the Floating Mountain.
