When Julia Wicker and Quentin Coldwater traveled to the Underworld to recover her Shade, Thomas greeted them at the front desk of the Underworld Meadows resort. As he tried to process them, he revealed that they'd died multiple times in previous time loops and the system would take a while to process their most recent deaths, so they were free to pass their time in one of the Meadows' islands.[1]
