The World Seed is a magical botanical organism that has the potential to grow into whatever the user desires, even an entire planet.
History[]
It was known to be in the possession of Magnus Dellacorte, one of the top Hedge Witch in the USA before he was killed by The Couple who kept it safe in the Nave Hotel. The seed will then be stolen by Alice Quinn, Margo Hanson, Eliot Waugh, Kady Orloff-Diaz, Josh Hoberman and Fen during the heist at the Nave Hotel. The group will be the one who hatches it into a new world.

A page written in Old Fillorian language explains how to hatch it. With the help of Santa's magic, Alice Quinn becomes the owner of the page and is then chased and tortured by The Couple before she gives it to them. In it, it explains that the seed can become anything the hatcher wants. While doing a series of specific hand movements (with a minimum of 3 magicians) one must talk to the seed and fills it with what they want. In the case of New Fillory it is via the memories of a Fillorian, Fen, that the new world was created.
